What can I offer?
my soul
will you take it from me
will you strip me bare of every defense
tear down every wall that has been constructed
to protect me
will you keep me safe
while challenging my borders
pushing me further to the edge
without letting me fall
over
dance with me
darkly, deeply
to music that would shock
most people who
would not, could not
go to that place
of wild abandon
that we will visit
often.
